The THAI FOR TRAVELERS & DAILY LIFE course starts : Saturday, 9 May 2026

Join the online live classes with the teacher on Google Meet on Saturdays & Sundays, 10 p.m. - 12 a.m. (Thailand Time)
The program runs for a total duration of 1 month (8 classes).

Course Content
1. Greeting + Basic phrases saying/responding to local people
2. Taking a taxi, motorcycle taxi, bus, tuk tuk, BTS/MRT, etc.
3. Ordering & talking about food
4. Ordering & talking about drinks/desserts
5. Buying stuff on the street and in a local shop, as well as bargaining for a better price
6. Asking information about local SIM card packages (short-term & long-term)
7. Buying medicine at a pharmacy, telling the pharmacist your symptoms and pains
8. What you will hear in 7-11 (standard phrases by the staff)
9. Weather talks / Getting directions / Getting a massage
10. Asking for help: what to say in emergency situations
Theme for each week
(Related vocabulary for each theme is provided)
WK-1 : Planning a trip to Thailand
WK-2 : A trip in old town Bangkok
WK-3 : A trip to Chiangmai
WK-4 : A trip to Phuket
WK-5 : A trip to Korat
WK-6 : A trip to Ayutthaya
WK-7 : Culture & Religion
WK-8 : Celebrations & Festivals in Thailand
Class Activities (collecting points to redeem 5 LLT University souvenirs)
During each class, there will be 5 short exercises. You will earn 1 point when passing each exercise.
A total of 50 points can be collected throughout the course.
REDEMPTION
Every 10 points can be redeemed for 1 piece of the LLT University souvenirs.

Attend the weekly live classes on Sundays via Google Meet as scheduled
The lesson sheets will be provided on Fridays
Link to the class-recorded videos will be provided on Mondays (with 1 year of access)

FREE for LLTU students
The EXTRA CLASSES are added for FREE for both live-class and self-study students.
The activities in the extra classes are
- topic requested by a student (any student can request a topic)
- lesson summary, lesson review, and practice
- speaking practice by using new sets of vocabulary
>> These classes are scheduled throughout the year.
>> Regardless of your level, any LLTU students can join these practice classes besides your main classes.
>> The class time will be rotated to cater to students in different time zones. The schedule will be informed monthly in advance.
