The New Course

"THE THAI FOR TRAVELERS & DAILY LIFE COURSE"

The THAI FOR TRAVELERS & DAILY LIFE course starts : 18 October 2025

*The course outline is below.*

You do not need to be able to read the Thai script. However, if you can, it will tremendously help to enhance your memory retention as well as the accuracy of your pronunciation.

Join the online live classes with the teacher on Google Meet every Saturday 7-9 p.m. (Thailand Time)

The program runs for a total duration of 2.5 months (10 classes).

FREE EXTRA CLASSES

FREE for LLTU students

The EXTRA CLASSES are added for FREE for students who enrolled in 2025 both for live-class and self-study students.

The activities in extra classes are

- topic requested by a student (any student can request a topic)

- lesson summary, lesson review, and practice

- speaking practice by using new sets of vocabulary

>> These classes are scheduled throughout the year.

>> Regardless of your level, any LLTU students can join these practice classes besides your main classes.

>> The class time will be rotated to cater to students in different time zones. The schedule will be informed monthly in advance.

ENROLLMENT

THE THAI FOR TRAVELERS & DAILY LIFE

The classes run for a total duration of 2 months (8 classes)

Course outline

1. How to greet & introduce yourself

2. Ordering & talking about food & drinks

3. Buying stuff on the street and in a local shop as well as to bargain prices

4. Buying a sim card & asking for an internet connection

5. Taking a taxi, motorcycle taxi, bus, tuk tuk, BTS/MRT, etc.

6. Asking for help, what to say in emergency situations

7. Understanding directions & asking for directions

8. Telling your symptoms and pains when getting a massage

9. What you will hear in 7-11 (standard phrases by the staff)

10. Basic phrases saying/responding to local people

YOU WILL GET :::

Attend the weekly live classes as scheduled
The lesson sheets will be provided on Fridays
Link to the class-recorded videos will be provided on Mondays (with 1 year of access)
